Theory of Elasticity 1. Great job and Congratulations Laura. Laboratory demonstrations and experiments. Engineering Science at the University of Toronto is one of the most selective and advanced engineering programs offered in the world.

The dual degree requires twenty hours of technical electives. Introduction to rocket and spacecraft propulsion. Introduction to Gas Dynamics.

The course is focused on a team-based design exercise to develop an end-to-end spacecraft mission concept. Inviscid flows over airfoils, spheres, cones, wedges, and bodies of revolution. Mathematical preliminaries including index notation; analysis of stress; analysis of deformation; fundamental laws, field equations, and constitutive equations; application to fluids and solids.

Students transferring into the major must satisfy the following minimum requirements. Nomenclature of aircraft, aerodynamics, civil air regulations, navigation, meteorology, aircraft, and aircraft engines.

Gives the engineering student a basic understanding of the human system so that the student may include it as an integral part of the design.

Degrees & Program Requirements

Cardiovascular Systems Normal cardiac physiology, pathogenesis of cardiac diseases, cardiac development, therapeutic technologies, including cardiac regeneration; electrophysiological techniques, imaging technologies, mathematical modeling, gene regulation, molecular biology techniques; cardiac bioelectricity and cardiac biomechanics.

Although the faculty background and interests in the areas of aerodynamics and fluid mechanics are broad, recent research has been concentrated on applications of computational fluid dynamics CFD to investigate a wide variety of problems in fuel cell technology, fixed wing and rotorcraft aerodynamics, bioengineering, and combustion.Pursuing a research-driven graduate engineering degree at the University of Toronto means developing the specialized knowledge and expertise needed to design a better world for tomorrow and fuel our economy.
